Who am I?

Brother Theophyle asks a Teacher, "Where can I discover the secret of the Universe?"

The Teacher replies, "What you seek resides in the query, Who am I? Ask it endlessly."

Theo is confused. He says to Rabbit, "That makes no sense to me. How about you?"

Rabbit answers, "Just do as he says."

Theo responds, a little lamely, "You think?"

After a moment's consideration, Theo concludes, "Yea, I suppose he probably knows about these things."

To that, Rabbit replies, "You think?"

Now, Theo is sitting in meditation. Obeying the Teacher's instruction as he understood it, Theo concentrates on the question, "Who is he? Who is he? Who is he? Who is he? Who is he?"
